Initial problem and objectives:
To make the warehouse logistics management more efficient, the enterprise managers decided to re-equip warehouses for high-shelf storage and implement a targeted storage system. Proposed solution:
For implementing the project, the software product 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management was applied. Data terminals are connected using the Universal Client for Android mobile app developed by SITEK, the city of Izhevsk. Corus Consulting GK took part as an implementation partner. The company specialists have extensive experience in the successful completion of projects based on 1C software products.
Result:
As a result of the project, all warehouse processes were optimized, from goods receiving in the warehouse to shipment to end customers.
During the design stage, the issues of the batch count of food products and batch count of EGAIS alcoholic beverages were solved.. A complete inventory counting of all warehouses was taken. During the inventory, all shipments were put on hold. The implementation was in stages. Due to a large number of leftovers, as soon as in 2 days, the A category products were picked and became available for sale, and this is 80% of the goods. The rest of the products were tested and launched for sale within the next 2 weeks.
In total, 56 workstations have been automated, for 47 of them, we used portable data terminals.
