What to do if I do not know how to correctly describe the task and draw up terms of reference?+
It’s a very common issue. To help you get out of the situation, we have included in the project the first 2 stages: survey and modeling. As a result of the survey, we receive the “as-is” data, form requirements for the system, and describe business processes. At the modeling stage, we "impose" these processes on the system and discuss with the customer whether we need to modify the processes or refine the system. After modeling, we receive a list of agreed improvements and "translate" them into the developer's language. Next, the project consultant accepts and tests the revision and only then provides it to the client. Thus, we interact with the clients using the language they can understand and avoid complex technical terms that are only clear to IT specialists.
